How?
Someone I know managed to drop their mobile phone into a cup of tea. Not a large bowl-like cup of coffee, or a bowl of soup even, but a cup of tea! There are very few people I know with the propensity for such ridiculously horrid luck, and I now have reason to add one more.
I’ve heard of people putting their phones through washing machines, or even being thrown into a pool with one in their pocket, but a cup of tea? What’s the world coming to?

There’s always the out-of-the-back-pocket-and-into-the-toilet-bowl danger with phones, but yep into the tea is a fair effort. I sympathise!

wow… you aussies (and kiwi’s, will) really have a hard time holding onto your phones… then again, my friend ruined his when we went out in Rome one night, got drunk, and he decided to plunge into the fontane di quattro fiume in piazza navona… not a happy camper when he found out he had ruined his phone to get a ’sip’

I’m beginning to wonder if this isn’t Will’s blog, but simply a place for Will’s friends to ramble and chat.
Maybe this is… like… Will’s cafe… or something… an internet cafe… easier than trying to run one in real life, I guess, what with not having to buy premises, or fetch coffee, or clean dishes… hmmm… suppose it works well for one with little time… hmmmmmmmm
